1st top of G6
The top of G6 is an informal meeting between the Heads of States of the Germany, of the the United States of America, the France, the Italy, the Japan and the the United Kingdom; it resulted in creating the G6 .
This meeting at the top took place from November 15th to 17th 1975 with the Château of Rambouillet to Rambouillet in France on the initiative of the President of the French Republic Valery Giscard d'Estaing. Six countries took part in it:

Germany (Helmut Schmidt),
- the United States (Gerald Ford)
- France (Valery Giscard d'Estaing)
- Italy (Aldo Moro)
- Japan (Takeo Miki)
- the United Kingdom (Harold Wilson)
At the origin the French president was opposed to the presence of Italy but had to conform to the opinion of the other participants who wished his presence. The meeting was concluded by the Déclaration from Rambouillet which is the element founder and which fixes the motivations of the G6.
