1994 in France - 1995 - 1996 in France
  • July 25th: Murder attempt (8 dead) with the station the RER Saint-Michel, made by islamist Algerian: beginning of a wave of attacks.

  • July 31st: The French Parliament adopts the constitutional revision relating to the extension of the field of application of the Référendum, the introduction of nine months a single parliamentary session for the two assemblies and the reduction of the immunity of the deputies and the senators.
  • August 17th: attack Place of the Star in Paris
  • August 25th: Resignation of Alain Madelin, Minister for the Budget after his declarations on the privileges of the civils servant.
  • September 5th: resumption of the nuclear tests with Moruroa
  • September 29th: the terrorist Khaled Kelkal is killed close to Lyon.
  • October: Beginning of the strike coed which will last until the holidays of Christmas.

  • October 17th: Terrorist attack with Paris between the stations the RER of the museum of Orsay and Saint-Michel.
  • November 7th: Cabinet reshuffle in France, the second Juppe government counts less women.
  • November 15th: Announces “Juppe plan” of reform of the Social security. In the days which follow a social movement of great scope starts which will lead to the abandonment of the plan by the Prime Minister Alain Juppe.
  • November 24th: Beginning of a strike of the railwaymen which will be transformed into France into vast Social movement against the policy of the government, with an all-out strike of the Public office until the December 18th.
  • November 25th: CDS becomes the democratic Force (FD).
  • December 5th: France reinstates the command of NATO.
  • December 21st: Social Summit with Matignon, concluding one month from social agitation in France.
