1942: The Pacific Air War is a Video game of flight simulation for PC developed by MicroProse, left in 1994.

Scenario for the career mode

The player incarnates a pilot of plane on the theater of peaceful during the second world war. It is possible to choose its camps: American or Japanese, as well as the type of plane (hunter, bomber in piqué or destroyer).

The play starts in 1941 shortly after the Attaque on Pearl Harbor and it goal is to be the best pilot one.

Gameplay

This play has in addition to the usual career mode a historical career mode based on great operations of the conflict. You will be able thus to take part in the battle of Midway or that of the coral sea and to thus change the course of the conflict. Progressively of the months and the various missions, it will be possible to fly various planes such as Corsair where Zero Japanese.

The mission torpedoing:

Ship Torpedo: To torpedo a ship
