- January 12th: Fall of the president of the Council Pierre Laval.

- February 16th: Opposed to the reform project electoral, the Senate reverses the government Pierre Laval.

- Since the stabilization of the French franc, exports fell of 62% between 1929 and 1932 .

- Fort drop of the industrial production. On a basis 100 in 1928, the index reaches 78 then. The iron and steel industry (58) and the mechanical engineering (68) are reached. The textile (74) and chemistry (83) are touched less hard.
- unemployment touches 900 000 workers with most extremely of the crisis. The short-time working touches ¼ workmen of the factories of more than 100 paid, and the weekly profits of the workmen decreased by 12,5% on average. But the retail prices and the cost of living decrease in the same time of 25% (farm prices drop).
