- February 2nd: Suppression of the budget of the embassy of France to the the Vatican.
- April 10th: Fall of the government of the president of the Council Edouard Herriot.
- monetary Crisis: the ceiling of the advances of the Banque de France in the State is burst. Edouard Herriot considers a capital tax, but runs up against the Banks, and in April, the assessment of the Banque de France which camouflaged the situation hitherto revealed that the ceiling is burst. Herriot resigns.
- April 17th: Paul Painlevé president of the Council.
- April 30th: Bloody confrontations street Damrémont with Paris between Communists and members of patriotic youths.
