The Middle East & Arab world
- July 3rd: Revolution of the Young person-Turks against the government of the Othoman Sultan (fine in 1909). The Turkish army of Macedonia makes a coup d'etat, obliging the sultan to restore the Constitution of 1876 and to organize elections in November - December. The members of the Committee “Union and Progress” return of exile and assume the load of the government. The empire knows days of general jubilation.
