Events

  • January 21st: Unification of the France time. All the country adopts “the Paris time”.
  • February 5th: Day's work is limited to 9 a.m. maximum for the minors.
  • March 24th: Foundation of the French socialist party (Jean Jaurès) by the Socialists reformists.
  • April 27th - May 11th: Victoire of the Block of the lefts to the legislative elections.
  • May 24th: Foundation of the French socialist party.
  • June 6th: The radical Emile Combes becomes president of the Council.
  • June 7th: Government Emile Combes (fine the January 18th 1905).
  • June 27th: The Décret Combes makes close of more than 2500 denominational schools in France.
  • June 27th: the duration of the working time is reduced in France at 10 a.m. and half per day for the men compared with 12 noon since 1848.
  • June 28th: Renewal of the Triple Alliance.
