18th regiment of hunters parachutists
The 18th regiment of hunters parachutists (18th CCP) is a Régiment French parachutist.
Creation and various denominations

July 1st, 1950: creation under the name of 18th battalion of hunters parachutists (18th BCP), based with the citadel of Bayonne
- April 1st, 1951: dissolution
- 1st battalion of the 18th regiment of infantry parachutist of shock based to Pau
- famous June 1st, 1956 18th regiment of hunters parachutists
The names of the battles are registered in gold letters on the flag

History
In December 1956, it leaves for l´ Algérie, then the Tunisia in the area of Tabarka.It takes part in the catch of weapons which leads to the regime change in 1958, then to the Putsch of the generals in 1961. The regiment east dissolves on April 30th, 1961
