  • May 9th. France. opening of the line Angers - the Arrow (Company from Paris to Orleans)

  • 1 {{er}} June. Algeria: opening of the section Ménerville - Palestro of the railroad of Algiers with Constantine and junctions. (Company of the Railroads of the Algerian East)
  • June 15th. France: opening of the section Bourges - Money of the line of Bourges with Gien with junction on Beaune the Rolande (Company of Paris-Orleans)
  • June 15th. France: opening of the section Montmorillon - Trimouille of the line Civray - the White. (company of Paris in Orleans)
  • 1 {{er}} October. Portugal: Approval of the statutes of the Companhia Nacional de Caminhos Ferro and transfer of the concession of the line Foz-Killed-Mirandela with the latter.
