- Generalization of the Family record book for all France
- March 21st: Law Waldeck-Rousseau abrogeant the Law the Hatter prohibiting to corporations thus the trade unions. The trade unions for the first time are authorized in France. The government recognizes the right to join all the people “following the same occupation, of the similar trades or the related professions”. N the other hand, it imposes the obligatory deposit of the statutes and the name of the administrators, raising the mistrust of the working militants.
- April 5th: Regulation of the local administrative life
- - confirmation of the Law of the March 4th 1882 returning to the Municipal councils the right to elect the Mayors
- - ineligibility of the ministers of religion to the municipal functions
- - obligation for any commune of acquire or to rent a hotel-of-city, putting an end to the extremely widespread practice to confuse " Mairie" and private residence of the Mayor.

- August 14th: “Small constitutional revision” consolidating the republic in France: the irremovable senators are removed and the electoral colleges are modified in favor of the urban areas whose population strongly increases compared to the rural districts.
