January 1st: Independence of Haiti.
- February 25th: Creation of the administration of the joined together Right .
- February 29th: Discovered plot of Cadoudal.
- March 13rd: Establishment of 12 schools of Right to deliver the license in right and the Capacity in right.
- March 20th: Execution of the duke of Enghien. Shown plot, removed in Bade, he is considered and carried out in Vincennes.
- March 21st: Promulgation of the Civil code French, written by Tronchet, Maleville, Portalis and Religious bigot of Preameneu. Its field of application is the whole of the territory: it institutes the civil wedding and the divorce. The family is the base of the company. The father is the chief: the woman is treated into minor and the management of its goods is entrusted to her husband, the children can be thrown in prison in the event of disobedience and are subjected to the parental authority as regards marriage up to 25 years. The personal property is full and whole. Any long-term contract or of subordination is prohibited. The right to test is limited: the inheritance must be divided in equal shares. Fixed rules in the contracts allow the development of the market economy.

Structure
- Napoleon request with his architects Charles Percier and Pierre Fontaine to transform Paris on the model of the sumptuous architecture of imperial Rome in order to make of it the most prestigious capital of Europe (Triumphal arch of the Carousel and opening of the Street of Rivoli). Work begins in 1806.
