- January 4th: Creation of the Sénatorerie S.
- February 25th: Creation of the School of Compiegne, first establishment of technical education.
- March 28th: Introduction of the frankly Germinal (Law of the 7 germinal year XI, which fixes the value of the franc at 5,90 grams of money).
- April 12th: New prohibition of the working coalitions (Strike S and Trade unions).
- April 14th: The Banque de France becomes an issuing house under control of the State. Begun again striking of copper and money, gold currencies, according to the decimal system, which removes the money of account.
