17 Hippies
17 Hippies is a group Berliner, Germany created in 1995.
The influences of the music pop rock'n'roll/Anglo-American mix with musical traditions of Eastern Europe.
The group uses various instruments: double bass, banjo, ukulélé and guitar for the rhythmic base, as well as violins, violoncello, accordions, clarinets, trumpet and trombone.
A DVD left for the ten years existence the group in 2005.
The group takes part, in 2006, with the creation of the part “Kasimir & Karoline” of Ödön von Horváth on the scene of the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. The director is Andreas Dresen with which they collaborated for the film “Halbe Treppe” (2001).
