- the death of the sultan Ismail of Morocco after fifty years of reign supports the revolts of dissatisfied and envenime the quarrels between its sons. The black guard, conscious of its force, intervenes in the Moroccan policy. It designates initially as sovereign Mulay Ahmed, then replaces it by his/her brother Abd-el-Malik who again yields the place to Mulay Ahmed (death in 1729).

- August 23rd: Treaty of Kiakhta between the China and the Russia. Foundation of a Russian counter with Beijing and establishment of commercial relations by Kiakhta. The Russians provide to the Chinese furs, leathers, wood and receive The, Coton, Soie and Porcelaine S.
- the treaty of Kiakhta defines the border between the Russian empire and the Mongolia. Russia recognizes the annexation of the khanats Khalkha S by the Mandchous. New law are introduced to supervise the borders, the two parts beginning to drive back or to carry out those which pass the border without authorization (the Russians will apply this clause badly: in 1727,1000 Oïrats of Mongolia are established beyond the Lac Baïkal without incurring the extradition). The Mandchous can concentrate their forces against the khan of Dzoungarie.
