• Spring frozen in England. Cold decade.

• February 13rd: Massacre of Glencoe in Scotland. Forty people of the MacDonald clan who had refused to lend Serment of allegiance to Guillaume and Marie are killed.
• March 26th: Entry in Brussels of Maximilien-Emmanuel of Bavaria, new governor of the Spanish Netherlands, son-in-law of the emperor Léopold Ier of the Holy roman Empire and victorious of the Turks to Vienna and Belgrade.
• May 24th: Head office of Namur which capitulates the June 30th.
• May 29th: Naval Victoire of Tourville to the Battle of Barfleur.
• 1^er - June 3rd: Demolished French fleet of Tourville to the Battle of Hougue, close to Cherbourg, against the fleet anglo-Dutchwoman in the War Last nine Year old. • Charles XI of Sweden becomes mediator between the France and united against Louis XIV.

France

• Series of late grape harvest in the north of France (1692 - 1700). Bad harvests in the Of Bordeaux one (1692 - 1695). The traders of Gironde call upon the wines of Languedoc to fill their commercial engagements.

• February 18th: Miss de Blois, bastard girl of Louis XIV, wife Philippe of Orleans, future Regent.
• March 5th: Opening of the Channel of Orleans. Passage of the first boat of the the Loire to the the Seine.

• Food shortage in Auvergne. Disorders and famine in the capital (November).
• Louis XIV decides separation of the surgeons and barber-wig makers.
• Parliament of Luxembourg (abbot of Choisy).

America

• March 1st: Arrest of the Witch of Salem.
• June 7th: The colony of Royal Port in Jamaica is destroyed by an earthquake. 2000 victims.
• September 14th: Return of the Spaniards to Santa Fe (New Mexico), led by Diego de Vargas Zapata. The area is reconquered as of 1696.

• Attacks of the Iroquois against the French of the News-France. Marie-madeleine Jarret of Verchères becomes heroin of News-France by defending a fort which awaited reinforcements.
