January 1st: The first postal service is open between New York and Boston.
March 18th: John Berkeley sells his share of New Jersey with Quakers.
May 17th - July 17th: French Jacques Inlays and Louis Jolliet explores the area of the big lakes and the basin of the the Mississippi in North America. Parties the May 17th, they go a little in on this side current border of the Arkansas and Louisiana from where they leave the July 17th to return in News-France.
June 17th: Jacques Inlays and Louis Jolliet reaches the Prairie of the Dog to the confluence of the Wisconsin and the the Mississippi.

In Hungary, 733 Protestants (pastors, professors, teachers) is put in impossibility of exerting either by the exile, or by the imprisonment.

February 10th: Affaire of levels (1673 - 1693) which opposes Louis XIV and the clergy gallican with the pope.
