Asia
- First ships Portuguese in China. They reach the island of Tunmen, close to Canton. The Chinese do not allow them to unload on the continent, but with the help of payment of the rights, authorize them to buy silks, Damas, muscs, pearls and porcelains. The one second forwarding, led by Perestrello in 1515, succeeds in selling pepper to the Chinese against their products.

Europe
- May 18th: marriage of Claude of France and François de Valois.
- August 7th: Peace treaty and of alliance between the France and the England signed with Turned. Louis XII must give up his conquests and marries Marie of England, sister of Henri VIII.
- September 8th: Demolished of Russia to the Battle of Orsha.
- Vassili III of Russia removes Smolensk with the large-duke of Lithuania. Sigismond Ier of Poland succeeds in containing the Muscovites in spite of the loss of Smolensk.

- Albert de Hohenzollern becomes archbishop-voter of Mainz. He must pay royalties with the popes for his taking up the duties ( first fruit ) and for the authorization to preserve three episcopal sees in office plurality. The pope authorizes it to take part of the funds collected by indulgences in the three évêchés (Magdeburg, Halberstadt and Mainz) to pay the rights due to Rome. In 1515, the sale of indulgence starts successfully.
Hungary
- Large Jacquerie led by György Dózsa in Hungary, caused by the increase in the royalties seigneuriales to pay the military expenditure.
- April: The archbishop of Esztergom Thomas Bakócz sermon the crusade against the Othomans; a military camp is organized with Pest by a captain of the borders, Gyögy Székety, said Dozsa, into which flow 40 000 peasants of all the country. The barons, anxious of this gathering of armed people, make prohibit the crusade.
- May - June: The army revolts, seizes the strong castles and puts at dead the noble ones. The Transylvania and the area of South-east blaze up.
