150 Z

The ''' Decapod ''' of the series of the 150 Z were locomotive with vapor of German origin where they appeared in 1938 for the needs for the war and were registered Br 50 . They were the copy reduced and simplified Br 44 (future 1 - and 2-150 X ) and they gave rise to the series more simplified even Br 52 (future 1 - 150 Y ).

the SNCF recovered 33 machines with leaving the war which all remained except inventory and confined with the Alsace. They were registered 1-150 Z numbers between 11 and 3137 by keeping the numbers allotted by DRg.

These Decapod had a motor two cylinders with simple expansion and the distribution was of the type “Walschaert”. The hearth was a hearth of the type “Crampton”. The exhaust was fixed of “German” type. The bogie-bissel of the type “Krauss Helmoltz” had a side displacement of approximately 15 mm for the driving Essieu and of approximately 96 mm for the carrying Essieu. They were provided with screens scented of the type “Wagner” or suspended of type “Whitte”. They laid out for some of the closed cabin of the Br 52 (future 1-150 Y ).
