150 Is 5201 to 5206
The Decapod series 13 numbers 5201 to 5206 are locomotive with vapor built by Hartmann in 1917 for the railroads of Saxony where they were classified: series XIII H n° 1165 to 1184 . They were allotted to the Compagnie of the railroads of the East under the services of armistice following the First World War. They became the 1-150 D 201 to 206 with the SNCF.
Service
They were only ex-allemandes with the 150 Is 5015 (future: 1-150 has 15 ) to remain on the network of ex-Is. This fact is explained by the preoccupations with a regrouping of the series; indeed other series of Decapod, namely the G 12 AL 5563 to 5689 (future: 1-150 C 563 to 689 ) and the G12.1 Al 5546 to 5562 (future: 1-150 B 546 to 562 ) were already present on the Railway network of Alsace-Lorraine and thus the machines of origin ex-Is were transferred on area ex-Al but not this small series and the single machine.
These engines gave any satisfaction because no ''' Consolidation ''' could never compete with a Decapod gold at the time it is all that could oppose to them the Compagnie of the railroads of the East. They dealt with the ore trains of the Lorraine basin while being assigned to the deposit Longwy.
All the series was erased with the deposit Baroncourt for 1952 following the startup of the 150 Is 150001 to 150195 (future: 1-150 E 1 to 195 ) and the 150 X which made useless this series of 6 machines.
Description
These Decapod had a motor three cylinders with simple expansion and the distribution was of the type “Walschaerts”. The hearth was a hearth of the type “Crampton” with narrow grid. The exhaust was fixed of “Prussian” type. The Bissel had a side displacement of approximately 80 mm and was of the type “Krauss”. The last driving Essieu had a side displacement of approximately 20 mm to facilitate turning circle.
They gave rise to future the series 13 numbers 150001 to 150195 (future: 1-150 E 1 to 195 ) of the East conjoitement with the G12.1 Al 5546 to 5562 (future: 1-150 B 546 to 562 ).
