  • the emperor of China Yongle intervenes in Mongolia on the Top Kerulen.

  • Zheng He brings back a Girafe of Africa to China.
  • Khizir Khan, governor of Tamerlan to Multân, seizes Delhi and founds the Dynastie Sayyud (fine in 1451). It does not have that little to be able on the remainder empire.

  • November 16th: Beginning of the Council of Constancy , convened by the emperor Sigismond, guard of the pope Jean XXIII, to put an end to the Great Schism of Occident (fine in 1418).
    • the pope of Pisa Jean XXIII, with the catches with the king of Naples, must solicit the assistance of the king of the Romans, the future emperor Sigismond. This one grants its support to him provided that he convenes a council to solve the Schism.
    • Sigismond grants a safe conduct to Jan Hus so that it comes to be defended in front of the council where the Fathers had convened it. Hus leaves Prague (October 11th) and presents to Constance in front of the pope Jean XXIII (November 3rd), and receives the imperial letters of safeguard promised by Sigismond (November 5th). Called under pretext of a conference to the pontifical palate, it is stopped and transported in a convent where it is locked up (November 28th).
    • a movement of the Lollards is crushed in England after the judgment of doctrines of John Wyclif with Constance.

  • Barb Cillei, wife of Sigismond, becomes queen of Germany.
  • the Byzantine emperor Manuel II Paleologist is essential in Morée where it subjects to his authority the Latin prince Centurione Zaccaria and undisciplined Greek tycoons (1414 - 1415). Begun again by its sons, the despots of Mistra Theodore II and Constantin Dragasès, the conquest of Morée is completed in 1430, except for Coron, Modon, Argos and Nauplie always held by Venice.

Company

  • massive Conversion of Jewish into Spain: following the Argument of Tortosa (1413), Nen Labi of Caballeria convert with Christianity, followed by many other Jewish families (Alazar, Golluf, Ginillo, etc). Pedro of Caballeria (death in 1461) will occupy of the municipal offices with Saragossa, will be legist of the court in 1430, rider in the army of king, adoubé knight during the war of Catalonia. He will be shown of heresy by the Inquisition and will be judged on a purely posthumous basis (1485 - 1492).
  • In Spain, bursts the quarrel of the “Conversos”, or Juifs converts (more or less of force). Continuing the trades reserved to the Jews (loan of money), they also succeed in the offices and the trades which theirs are open since their conversion. Consequence, they are criticized on the two sides: the Jews tax them with treason, while the “old Christians” jalousent them and complain some with the Inquisition.
