  • Stay in China of the franciscain Jean de Marignolli (fine in 1347). It arrives by the sea route.
  • the Tenryûji bune , a ship chartered by the Tenryûji, a temple of Kyôto, goes in China. The commercial relations between the Japan and China begin again quasi-officiellement.

The Middle East

  • the dynasty hétoumienne dies out in Petite Arménie, fault of heir male. Guy de Lusignan, wire of the sister of the king Hétoum II, Zabel, and of Amaury, brother of the king de Chypre Henri II, goes up on the throne under the name of Constantin IV of Armenie. Guy de Lusignan will be assassinated by the Armenians, hostile with the installation of the Catholic church in the country (1344). Leon V, his nephew, will succeed to him (1374).
