133e regiment of infantry of line
The 133e Régiment of Infanterie of line (or 133e IH) is a regiment made up under the First Empire.
Creation and various denominations
- 1811 : Creation of the ''' 2 {{E}} Penal Regiment of the Mediterranean '''
- 1812: Becomes the 133e Régiment of Infantry of Line for the Campagne of Russia
- 1814: Bachelor with the Restoration
- 1873: Rebirth of 133e IH in Belley (Ain), at the height of Pierre-Châtel and at the height of the Lock close to Bellegarde (Ain)
- 1914: At the mobilization, it sets up its regiment of reserve, the 333 {{E}} Régiment of Infantry
- 1923: Dissolution of 133e IH with all the bodies of its divison
- 1939: Creation of 133 {{E}} Regiment of Infantry of Fortress to Saint Nicolas of the Port (Meurthe and the Moselle)
- 1940: Dissolution
- 1963: Rebirth of the 133e Divisional Regiment of Infantry with Borough-in-Bresse (Ain), as a regiment of reserve
- 1998: 133e IH is again dissolved following the example all regiments of reserve, its flag is deposited with the Invalids in Paris

Anecdote
One of hairy the last ten, Claude-Marie Shrimp, had been useful in this regiment. He died on May 17th, 2005 with old 110 years.
