Revolt in the area of the Issyk-koul and the Ili, with the Turkestan. The Khanat de Djaghataï is divided into two: in north the khanat of Mogholistan, in the south that of Transoxiane.
The Middle East
- October 28th: The Chevaliers of Rhodos seize citatelle the port Smyrna (fine in 1404).
- February 1st: With died of Abu Saïd, the khanat of Iran is dislocated. The Mongolian princes preserve the west of the country, but in the east are Iranian dynasties which replace them (like the Afghan house of the Kert).
Europe
- December 20th: Beginning of the Pontificate of Benoit XII (Jacques Baker, until in 1342).
- Robert III of Artois takes refuge in England.
- First mention of the boroughs of Baïa (1334), Siret (1340) and Suceava (1345) in Moldavie.
Art & culture

Construction of the palate-fortress known as Palate of the Popes to Avignon by Pierre Poisson and Jean de Loubières (fine in 1363).
- Giotto returns to Florence where it is named architect as a chief of the city following a flood. He carries out the project of bell-tower for the Cathédrale of Florence.
Economy & company
- Raised subsidies in England: the boroughs are indebted tenth of their richnesses, the counties of fifteenth. London is imposed on 11.000 £, Bristol with 2.200 £, York with 1.600 £, Newcastle with 1.300 £, Boston with 1.100 £ and Lincoln with 1.000 £.

the large markets which furrow the road of the the Indies enter in decline. Kabul and Ghaznî is in ruin (according to Ibn Barrûta). The market of Tabriz is impoverished and the roads which leave there towards Trébizonde, Sivas where Lajazzo does not offer any more any safety.
