Asia

  • Beginning of the reign of Mubarak, sultan of Delhi.
    • January 2nd: Malik Kafur tries to succeed Ala Aldine Khiji after having perhaps poisoned it. But he is decapitated by the Türk guards faithful to his son. Mubarak then exerts regency for his/her young brother, designated as sultan, then makes him burst the eyes and seizes the throne (April).
  • Mubarak removes the repressive edicts of his/her father, releases the prisoners, returns the grounds to their owners, which makes it popular. It carries out nevertheless a life of debauchery, leaving the authority to its Hindu favorite of origin Khusrav Khan.

Europe

  • August 7th: Beginning of the Pontificate of Jean XXII (Jacques Duèse, bishop of Avignon) (until in 1334). It settles definitively with Avignon and organizes the curia there. It shows a great political activity and develops pontifical centralization and the taxation.

  • November 15th: Birth and beginning of the reign of Jean I {{er}}, the Posthumous one, king de France.

  • November 19th:
    • Died of Jean Ier de France, perhaps poisoned on order of Mahaut, countess of Artois.
    • Beginning of the reign of Philippe V, Length, king de France (until in 1322). Two news fundamental laws of the kingdom: the girls are excluded from the throne and, in the event of male absence of heir, the king is more the close relative of late by the men.

  • Revolt of the Welsh against England.
  • Beginning of the reign of Gédymin (Gediminas, 1275 - 1341), large-duke of Lithuania (until in 1341). Pagan chief, perhaps descendant of Mindaugas, it is proclaimed supreme leader of the Lithuanians. He takes Vilnius for capital.
