12th regiment of hussards

The 12th Regiment of Hussards is a regiment of the French Army creates during the French revolution.

Creation and various denominations

  • February 1794: Raised 12th Regiment of Hussards , creates starting from the Hussards of the Mountain and Chasseurs to horse
  • 1803: The 12th Regiment of Hussards becomes the ''' 30 {{E}} Régiment of Dragons '''
  • January 8th 1812: Creation of the 9th (a) of Hussards , with 2nd, 3rd and 4th squadrons of 9th Hussards which are in Spain.
  • May 10th 1813: The 9th (a) of Hussards becomes 12th Regiment of Hussards
  • May 12th 1814: 12th Hussards is dissolved
  • September 29th 1873: re-creation of the 12th Regiment of Hussards .
  • 1922 : dissolved
