128e regiment of infantry of line

The 128e Régiment of Infanterie of line (or 128e IH) is a regiment made up under the French revolution.

Creation and various denominations

  • 1794 : creation of the 128e Half-Brigade of Battle , consisted of the following units:
    • 2nd battalion of the 68 {{E}} Regiment of Infantry
    • 2nd battalion of volunteers of the the Eure
    • 6th battalion of volunteers of the Oise.
  • 1796 :poured in the 7 {{E}} Half-Brigade of Infantry of Line
  • 1811: creation of the 128e Regiment of Infantry of Line at the time of the annexation of the western coasts northern of the Germany, starting from the guard of Bremen, and conscripts of the departments of the Mouth-of-Weser the, the Mouth-in-the Elba and the Ems-Superior.
  • 1814 : dissolution
  • 1914: At the mobilization, it sets up its regiment of reserve, the 328 {{E}} Régiment of Infantry
