- Qaïdu makes peace overtures to Barak, khan of Djaghataï. This last receives the Transoxiane and recognizes the suzerainty of Qaïdu, which founds its empire in the valley of the Ili and with the Eastern Turkestan. Qaïdu sends its new vassal to fight Abaqa, it-qan of Iran, with order to remove the Afghanistan to him.
