- August 21st: Alexandre of Haul, theologist and philosopher English franciscain (v. 1185 - v. 1245), called the irrefragable Doctor. Its work is integrated in vast exposed doctrines known under the title of Summa universae theologiae (Somme of theology), compiled after its death.
