June 25th: Victoire of Batu to Köse Dagh (Kensé Dagh or Kösedag, province of Erzindjan). The Mongolian subject the Seldjoukides Rûm.
- the king Héthoum of Small Arménie and the king Lulu of Mosul place themselves under Mongolian protectorate.
- Beginning of the reign of Conrad IV, wire of Frederic II, king of Jerusalem (fine in 1254).
- the representative of Frederic II, the marshal Ricardo Filangieri is expelled of Tyr by the Ibelin.
- the barons refuse to pay homage to the representative of Conrad IV, wire of Frederic II and entrust the regency of Jerusalem to the queen dowager of Cyprus, then with his/her son Henri I {{er}}. This regency is as theoretical as the royalty of Conrad and the capacity belongs in fact to the buckets of the family of the Ibelin (Balian, then his/her brother Jean), which dominates the High court and hold the principal strongholds on the continent and with Cyprus.
