123e regiment of infantry of line
The 123e Régiment of Infanterie of line (or 123e IH) is a regiment made up under the First Empire.
Creation and various denominations
- 1793 : creation of the 123e Half-Brigade of Battle , starting from the 1st battalion of the 62 {{E}} Regiment of Infantry, amalgamated with the 1st battalion of volunteers of the Vienna and the 2nd battalion of volunteers of the Somme.
- 1796 : poured in the 99 {{E}} Half-Brigade of Infantry of Line
- 1810: creation of the 123e Regiment of Infantry of Line starting from the 2 {{E}} Regiment of Infantry and of the 2nd battalion of the 6 {{E}} Regiment of Infantry, of the kingdom of Holland, at the time of the annexation of this one.
- 1813 : incorporation of the remainders of the 126 {{E}} Regiment of Infantry of Line
- 1814: dismissal
- 1914: At the mobilization, it sets up its regiment of reserve, the 323 {{E}} Régiment of Infantry
