- After the death of Ali Ben Youssef, the empire almoravide is dislocated. His/her son Tachfin Ben Ali in vain tries to stop the advance of the Almohades (fine in 1145).
The Middle East
- Antioche is released from Byzantine suzerainty.
Europe
- Louis VII '' the Young person '' is scrambled with the the Holy See about the holder of the archbishop's palace of Bourges. Protected from the pope being taken refuge near Thibaut II of Champagne, Louis invades the Champagne. In December, it put fire at the borough of Vitry-en-Perthois, causing the death of most of the population taken refuge in the church. After the intervention of the pope, it evacuates Champagne.

Beginning of the conflict between Amédée III of Savoy, count de Savoie and the dolphin of the Viennese, the count Guigues IV of Albon which dies in the seat of Montmélian.
