Schism of Anaclet II (fine in 1138) supported by Roger II of Sicily against the emperor Lothaire II which supports Innocent II. This last must flee in France where it obtains the support of Saint Bernard and several sovereigns with the council of Etampes in 1131.

December 25th: Beginning of the reign of Roger II, king of Sicily (fine in 1154).
