10th regiment of infantry of line
The 10th Regiment of Infantry of Line is a Régiment French created at the end of the Ancien Mode starting from battalions of the regiment of Normandy.
Creation and various denominations
- 1776 : Creation from 1st and 3rd battalions of the Regiment of Normandy under the name of Regiment of Neustrie .
- 1791 : famous 10th Regiment of Infantry of Line .
- 1794: reformed in 10th Half-Brigade of Battle , starting from the following units:
- 2nd battalion of the 5 {{E}} Regiment of Infantry
- 1st and 2nd battalions of the volunteers of Indre-et-Loire
- 1796: reformed in 10th Half-Brigade of Infantry of Line , starting from the following units:
- 53 {{E}} Half-Brigade of Battle, it even made up of:
- 1st battalion of the 27 {{E}} Regiment of Infantry
- 1st battalion of volunteers of the the Low-Rhine
- 3rd battalion of volunteers of the the Moselle
- 159 {{E}} half-brigade of battle, it even made up of:
- 1st battalion of the 88 {{E}} Regiment of Infantry
- 12th battalion of volunteers of the the Jura
- 4th battalion of volunteers of the Coast-with Or
- September 24th, 1803: famous 10th Regiment of Infantry of Line
- 1914: To the mobilization, it gives rise to the 210 {{E}} Régiment of Infantry
