Events

Humay founds the dynasty Saifawa kings of Kanem to the Chad;
Querelle enters the patriarch of Alexandria Christodule and the vizier of the Cairo Badr Al-Djamali, about brimades inflicted by the bishop Abdoum with the Moslems of Ethiopia. Christodule decides to deposit this bishop that it did not indicate, but Badr Al-Djamali considers this measurement insufficient. Christodule thus sends in Ethiopia a new bishop, Sévère, which has as a main mission of facilitating the construction of the mosques;
the Hammadides transfer their capital to Bougie, which becomes one of the most important ports of the the Maghreb;
