- Berenger of Turns, after having studied under the direction of the bishop and scholar Fulbert of Chartres, returns to Tours, joined the chapter of Saint Martin's day and becomes principal. He acquires a reputation of honest and independent thinker, excelling in logic, medicine, poetry and theology.
