  • Fujiwara No Michinaga becomes Grand Minister of state (fine in 1019). Michinaga, which drains towards him and its family the flood of the rice and silk contributions that the governors of the fields send, becomes the richest man of the Japan.

  • the Caliph Fatimide Al-Hakim founds the Religion Druze. He proclaims his divinity under the influence of the Persan Ismaïliens Darazi and Hamza.

Africa

  • Hammad Ibn Bologhine (death in 1022) is declared independent of the Zirides by melting the dynasty Hammadide when its nephew Badis ibn Mansur of Kairouan wants to raise it of his functions of governor. Ziride Al-Muizz ibn Badis, wire of Badis, will recognize the following year the independence of Hammadides which will reign on the the central Maghreb (Algérie) until in 1152.

Europe
