FC Bocholt is a club of German Football based with Bocholt. Created in 1900, the club amalgamated with a local team, BSV Bocholt 1909 in 1938 to form BSV Bocholt 1900 . After the second world war it was reformed under its current name.

It generally evolves/moves in or division but reached twice the the second German division: at the time of the seasons 1977-78 and 1980-81.
The FC Bocholt was quarter of finalist of the Coupe of Germany 1984, beaten 1-2 by the Bayern Munich, future winner of the test.
