Events

the Babylonian empire, under the reign of Nabuchodonosor II (605 - 562), conquers the Royaume of Juda and destroyed, with Jerusalem, the Jewish temple of the king Solomon. After the conquest, the Babylonian king decides to off-set the Jews and their king with Babylon, it follows the forced exile of the Jews.
March 16th: Catch of Jerusalem by Nabuchodonosor II.

While the Edom ites seize the Négeb, Nabuchodonosor takes Jerusalem revolted on March 16th. The king Yehôyakîn is off-set with Babylon as well as the nobility and the craftsmen (3000 people). Nabuchodonosor plunders the treasures of the Temple and the royal palace and institutes like king de Juda an uncle de Yehôyakîn, wire of Josias, Mattaniah, which takes the name of Sédécias (Sidqiyahu).
