  • the bases of the doctrines of Zoroastre are reported in the Avesta, written at the times Parthes and Sassanides. The body of its teaching rests on the existence of a single god, found in the Iranian religion with the profit of which it eliminates all the other divinities. It transforms the naturist antique religion and polytheist into doctrines monotheist, which pose the problem of the good and the evil, like that of the freedom of the man. Ahura Mazda is the Wise Lord, the creator of any thing, which transcends the world; it is at the same time light and darkness, sky and ground, movement and duration. It gives rise to entities which are personifications of abstract concepts. Thus the man must choose between Justice and the Fraud, two emanations of Ahura Mazda which introduce the concept of individual freedom and that of responsibility.
