Alcibiade is victorious of Sparte on ground and sea with Cyzique. The fleet of Sparte (60 vessels) is captured by the 86 trières Athéniennes. The navarque Spartan Mirandos dies in the battle. Sparte then proposes a peace based on the “ status quo post bellum ”, with exchange of Décélie against Pylos. Athens, which should give up most of the empire, refuses.
Cléophon founds the Diobélie with Athens, which grants two mites per day to the paupers.
Archélaos of Macedonia establishes its capital with Pella.

Destruction by the Egyptians of the Jewish temple dedicated to Yahô with Elephantine, at the time of a riot.
