- Alcibiade is victorious of Sparte on ground and sea with Cyzique. The fleet of Sparte (60 vessels) is captured by the 86 trières Athéniennes. The navarque Spartan Mirandos dies in the battle. Sparte then proposes a peace based on the “ status quo post bellum ”, with exchange of Décélie against Pylos. Athens, which should give up most of the empire, refuses.
- Cléophon founds the Diobélie with Athens, which grants two mites per day to the paupers.
- Archélaos of Macedonia establishes its capital with Pella.
- Beginning of the reign of Évagoras king of Salamine of Cyprus (fine in 374 av. J. - C.).

- Destruction by the Egyptians of the Jewish temple dedicated to Yahô with Elephantine, at the time of a riot. The Jewish community of Elephantine writes to the governors Judaea (Bagôhî) and of Samarie (Dalayah, wire of Sanballât) to require their support of them. They answer favorably in -407. They specify however that one would offer on the furnace bridge only the oblation and the incense, the sacrifices strapping being reserved for the Temple of Jerusalem. A regiment of mercenaries, sent by a King de Juda to be used the Pharaon for the Life front century J. - C., is undoubtedly at the origin of the Jewish community of Elephantine.
