Spring: Alexandre Large the, king of Macedonia, leaves Egypt and gains the town of Tyr earlier conquered one year. It receives there a delegation of Athens which beseeches and obtains the release of the Athenian prisoners who had fought in the Persian rows at the time of the Bataille of Granique.
Fine of spring/beginning of the summer: Alexandre leaves the town of Tyr and goes up towards north in order to meet his adversary Darius III.
With died of the governor of Samarie, Sanballât, Parménion names Andromachos Greek governor of Samarie or Coelésyrie. This nomination is badly accommodated by the Samaritans who seize Andromachos and burn it sharp. On his return of Egypt, Alexandre walks on Samarie, and after having punished the assassins of the prefect, it names Memnon in the place of Andromachos.
At the end of July/at the beginning of August: Alexandre crosses the Euphrate.
