  • With died of the emperor of China Qin Shi Huang di, which completed the Chinese conquest of the Vietnam, a military chief, Triêu Da, created the kingdom of the Nam-Vietnamese soldier.
  • In China, Zhao Gao tries to seize the capacity while making attack the emperor by false gangsters. That Ci commits suicide and its nephew Ziying, not being able to control the totality of the empire, succeeds to him with the title of king. One second army, more powerful, ordered by Xiang Yu intervenes which decapitates Ziying and puts at bag the capital, profaning and plundering the tomb of Qin Shi Huang di. Liu Bang, made indignant, guerroie during four years against Xiang Yu.

Roman world

  • With Rome, Consul At of C. Claudius Nero, Mr. Livius Salinator (for the second time).
  • Hasdrubal Barca, to the head of an army of help of 52.000 men, enters in Cisalpine, where it reinforces its army of many Gallic quotas. He seeks to make the junction with Hannibal, taken refuge in the Bruttium. Rome, thanks to its central position, contains Hannibal in the south (Bataille of Grumentum) and carries out a rigorous offensive against his/her brother. The consul C. Claudius Nero, opposed to Hannibal, joined in a bold operation his/her colleague Mr. Livius Salinator to overpower Hasdrubal, which after having vainly to try to bore in Ombrie, must move back towards north and is crushed on the edges of Métaure. On 60  000 men, 56  000 are killed, with their chief. The others are done prisoners. Claudius Nero sets out again towards the south with its troops after an absence of only thirteen days (for 750 km) and takes again its station of combat before Hannibal, informed of its departure, cannot continue it in its turn.
  • Cornélius Scipion undertakes the conquest of Spain which it completes in -206.
  • Surge of Spanish money in Rome. Financial balance is restored.
