- August/ September: Victoire of the fleets of Rhodos and Pergame to Sidé and Myonnèsos on those of Antiochos III and Hannibal.
- December: The legions of L. Scipion, advised by his/her brother the legate Scipion the African, cross the Hellespont. Combined with Pergame, they are victorious of Antiochos III of Syria to the Bataille of Magnesia of Sipyle, in the area of Smyrna. Antiochos requires peace and loses its possessions in Europe and Asia Mineure.
