World hellenistic
- After the defeat of Antiochos III of Syria Hannibal must flee again and require asylum of the king of Bithynie, Prusias Ier. As this one wants to deliver it to the Romans, Hannibal commits suicide in -184.
- the king Eumène II of Pergame is received by the Roman Sénat.
- an agreement is concluded between Rome and Pergame for control shared from the Asia Mineure.
- Division of the Arménie into Large and Small Arménie by two generals of Antiochos III, Artaxias and Zareh which proclaims independent with the approval of the Roman Sénat.
