  • Reign of Rîm-Sîn II, king of Larsa (fine in -1736).

    • an adventurer named Rîm-Sîn proclaims king de Larsa, involves all the South behind him and foments an insurrection in Iatmubal, cradle of its ancestors.

  • In Babylonia Samsu-iluna must push back an incursion of the Kassites, mountain dwellers of the Zagros of which it is the first mention. Nothing of their origins are known and the known elements of their language do not make it possible to attach them to any group, not more with the Sumériens that with the Indo-Europeans, the Hourrites or the Élam ites.
