World hellenistic

  • the king séleucide, Antiochos IV of Syria prohibits the Jewish religion and replaces in the Temple crowned, the furnace bridge of Yahvé by a furnace bridge devoted to Zeus. Rising Juif is organized under the direction of the priest Mattathias and his sons, the Maccabées.
