- the armies of the Pharaon Mérenptah stop the Libyan invaders (still called name of old the Tjehenou) directed by king Meriay and combined with their neighbors Meshwesh and the Peuples of the sea (Shardana, Shekelesh, Ekwesh, Lukka, Teresh, come from Greece and Asia Mineure) to Létopolis in the desert. Merenptah makes 9376 prisoners and substantial spoils.
