(TO BE FOLLOWED) is a Magazine Mensuel of Cartoon French disappeared, published by the editions Casterman, whose first number is appeared in February 1978 and whose ultimate number (239) is appeared in December 1997. The original model of (TO BE FOLLOWED) is of Etienne Robial.
Its editor association, Jean-Paul Mougin, wanted to use this support to give his noble letters to the cartoon, in particular by affirming that the bands published were not traditional “series” but of the chapters of novels - one did not speak yet about “Roman graph” but it is of that it acted.
The review thus privileged “the drawn novel” of quality and flushed out many talents in their leaving a total freedom work (black and white, painting, crayonné…) with like only constraint not exceeding 10 pages per number. Certain authors have chapter their stories in several episodes, others took the form of independent news. The majority of works were then gathered in traditional hard-bound album or flexible album (collection Romans (has to follow) ) with the édtions Casterman.
The magazine tried starting from the the Nineties (number 133) to conquer a new public following the fall of the sales, by incorporating a detachable supplement in the format Comic S but without success and stopped quickly (number 170). Supplements returned but exceptionally. These supplements have however their importance because the first was collaboration Moebius and Stan Lee on the Surfer of Money , there was also the publication of the Manga Gon of Masashi Tanaka.
