(Philately)

In Philately, the is the lower margin of a sheet of Israeli postage stamps . As of the first emission of this country in 1948, a text of explanation or an illustration is printed on this margin. Only the stamps of bottom of page are sold with this, that is to say a minority of the emitted stamps.

Origin

The first Israeli emission takes place in May 1948 at the time of the proclamation of the State of Israel. Collection

The albums not envisaging at the origin of place for the stamps with, the collectors did not preserve that the stamp by detaching it if it were present. That explains the strong dimensions of the stamps with himself-holding emitted in 1948 and 1952.
