(2000) Herschel

The Astéroïde (2000) Herschel was discovered the July 29th 1960 by Joachim Schubart. He was baptized in homage to William Herschel (1738 - 1822), German Astronome , with which one owes in particular the discovery of the planet Uranus, several satellites, and a study of the binary stars.
